Our Story

Ahuva means beloved.
Malka means queen.

I named this brand Ahuva Malka because I couldn't think of a name that better captured what I wanted this brand to stand for than my own. The feeling I wanted every woman to have when she puts these pieces on was already there: Beloved. Queen.

It started with my great-grandmother.

Her name was Fortuna. We called her Grandma Chocolate because she never let you leave without something sweet. She wore bold, colorful sleeveless house dresses every single day. Very her. Not for everyone. But her bangles and her charm necklaces were always on.

No occasion. No getting dressed up.

Just on, because they were hers.

I was little, but that image never left me. A woman completely herself, gold catching the light on a perfectly ordinary afternoon.

That was the beginning of my love for jewelry.

Years later, I was teaching an organizational development class when I gave the participants an exercise about finding their passions. For the first time, I did the exercise myself.

I wrote down what I loved.

Helping people feel amazing.

Jewelry.

It was the first time I'd admitted they belonged in the same sentence.

I called my husband after class and told him I thought I had just figured something out.

He laughed and said, "That is the most you thing I've ever heard."

That was the beginning of Ahuva Malka.

I've always believed jewelry is at its most beautiful when it's lived in.

When you forget you're wearing it.

When it goes from the rowing machine to school pickup to dinner with friends without ever coming off.

I've also never believed you should have to choose between white gold, yellow gold, and rose gold.

The best collections aren't bought all at once. They're collected over time, mixed together, layered effortlessly, and worn your way.

That's the feeling behind every piece you'll find here.

Pieces that become part of your every day.

Pieces that mix beautifully with what you already own, no matter the gold color.

Pieces that layer effortlessly, whether we've done it for you or you build the stack yourself.

Jewelry was never meant to wait for life to happen.

It was meant to live it with you.

Beloved by name. Fit for a queen.

No occasion required.

Grandma Chocolate never needed a reason.

Bold house dress. Bangles and charm necklaces always on. My great-grandmother Fortuna- Grandma Chocolate- never saved her jewelry for a special occasion. She was the first person who showed me that ordinary life deserves something beautiful. This brand is built on that.
